Saudi Arabia and Pakistan have criticised the UK for ‘not doing enough to stop Islamist terrorism’. In other news, Jim Davidson has criticised Bill Hicks for ‘not being funny’.
In news which has absolutely no bearing whatsoever on the news in the first paragraph, but which isn’t quite interesting enough to warrant its own article, The Magic Numbers are a humourless bunch of fat bastards.
I mean, how hard is it to think of a comeback to Richard Bacon?
Ooh… watch out John, they might not appear on Shot by Both Sides now.
I kind of like the Magic Numbers, only in the way that they have fooled EMI into signing a folksy-Belle-and-Seb type combo for lots of cash. And Forever Lost is alright.
They are fat though.
I would not like to be these guys playing some of our rowdier student unions this summer.
The Magic what nows? Never head of ’em. Good riddance I say.
Actually, I quite like The Magic Numbers. I’m more distressed they agreed to do TOTP in the first place than about their fat-lass hissy fit. (Nosemonkey – it’s modern beat music, old boy. Get with the program.)
Well, I completely understand you calling them a "bunch of fat bastards" (though I’m not sure about their legitimacy to be honest). But "humourless"? Surely not.
"Fat melting pot" is a painfully unfunny remark. If you’re presenting a major TV show, you should be able to come up with funnier insults than that.
