I have to disagree about Rachel Weisz and place her firmly in the cute column. Although the mental picture of Sean Thomas ‘snogging’ her is almost enough to ruin it for me.

Rachel Weisz was the second-best thing in that comedy classic, About a Boy.

The best thing of course was Grant in that scene where the boy was singing "killing me softly", and Grant's character saves the day by joining him playing guitar. I've never seen a more embarassing scene in a film. It was Tottenesque.

Ahhhh, Avril Lavigne, the Britney Spears for people who think they're too cool to like Britney Spears. I think that, like so many men, you've confused "she is really cute" with "she is wearing panda-like eye make up". To be honest, the Rachel Weisz thing is another data point in favour of this theory.

I've done the business, and would remind people that if they work for a living and have an internet connection at home, they can vote for Steyn twice a day.
